This large study has 2 important findings:

  1. Moderate to vigorous physical activity is associated with lower risk for cancer,  cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality.
  2. The timing of physical activity also matters.  This study suggests that exercise in the middle of the day (11am – 5pm) is the most effective in terms of reducing risk for disease and all-cause mortality.
